History
Jenny and Rodger Vickers have always loved the Derbyshire Peak District and purchased Fern Cottage as a holiday home in 1985 as a means of getting away from busy city life. They also let the cottage as holiday accommodation and very soon found that largely as a result of "repeat bookings" from delighted guests and "word of mouth" recommendations they were virtually fully booked.
Jenny and Rodger took the plunge in 1994 and moved from their home city of Sheffield to Brosterfield Hall, Foolow at the same time acquiring Brosterfield cottage next door. There then followed a comprehensive upgrading of Brosterfield cottage to enable them to be in a position to offer two charming but distinctly contrasting cottages, each full of character, both with central heating and both eminently suited to holidays throughout the year
